Does anyone know if there will be a free 30-day trial?

I'm sure that there would, but haven't seen anything in the FAQ's.

I would think the box comes with 30 days of game time. That's INCLUDED in the price, would be really naive to think it as "free".

Trial on the other hand usually means that you get something like 7 days free time and then you can decide if you want to keep playing or not. Trial is 100% free. Never seen a 30 day free trial tho..

  • Ive read it in one of the Dev journals yes.

Most games that comes in a box includes a 30 day without extra payment,-

About a free trial, I think that is something we might see later, depending on how many players the game gets.

Yes, there will be a 30 day free trial, but you have to submit your form of payment method before in order to try it.  If you don't like the game make sure to cancel the acct before the 30 days are up.

Could you tell me where you got this info pls?

I mean, 30 days free trial sounds a bit odd.

It was stated over and over in beta chat that there would be a 30 day free trial after you subscribe to HZ.  This is once you buy the game.  Like EQ did, buy the game subscribe with valid credit card or what ever, then play for 30 days, if you don't like unscribe to eq or HZ before the 30th day and your credit card will not be billed.  I think DAOC did this to.

I believe they have or will be posting this info on their website soon if they haven't done so already. I thinks its a great way to get players to stay with the game.  Only problem is, you have to purchase the game first lol, but if they hold true to their word, you then can play for the first 30 day trial period and not be billed til after that.

I wished many companies would do this, but some I suppose don't have the faith in their game , who knows.  Anyways, thats what I've been told and saw somewhere else as well.

O yea, you mean 1 month included in the price of the box. It's not same as "trial", its just charging peeps for the first month as they buy the box. Every game Ive heard of does this same, one month included.

Give it a month or two and there should be a whole free trial to the game to try to salvage the whole project. That is if the company doesn't fold.

    Atari is only the distributor.
