    Welcome to fray Litherish.

Mic support is not in game, instead most Squads and each Side of the Confrontation have their own servers which are either private or open to the public. The most common one is Teamspeak. The dev's are thinking of having in game mic support but they've decided to wait on implementing that and instead focus on other more important aspects to gameplay, especially since there are good alternatives that are already widely supported by the playerbase in use.

The game has an offline mode, and online mode. You can practice on firing ranges and driving/testing vehicles in offline, but you need to connect to the internet and log into the One massive game world that everyone plays on in online mode. There is also a training server which doubles as a special event server from time to time. There is no LAN only play.

On average the numbers swing from several hundred playing to well over a thousand depending on the time period you play in. I've seen missions where there was over 30 players on just that one mission, of which there where several other missions on that particular, now consider that there are anywhere from 2 to 3,4,5 or more Attack Objectives, plus a similiar number of defense objectives across the whole map, which could possibly have as many or less players taking part in them, and times that by two and you begin to get an idea of how many players can and do log in and play somedays. Not to mention many players are flying in the skies, while others are sailing boats in the areas of these battles. You can generally get an idea of player numbers are high or low depending on how many Attack Objectives are placed on the map as those scale up or down depending on the numbers of players in game world. The nice thing is that since the Rats have released the game in Europe the normally low-peak times are starting to see a good influx of new players meaning there are generally more and larger battles raging constantly from one timezone to the next.

Unfortunately Plummerx is under the belief that people can't make up their own minds, and that because some of us like the game we are either liars or idiots and he feels he must share his own negative opinion to anyone who will listen because if someone were to actually enjoy a game he's left or been banned from, not sure which it is then the sky will fall and his frail reality which orbits around his ego will cease to exist leaving him alone and bereft of any real meaning in life. Or atleast thats my best guess. =)

And yes if you purchase a copy of BE from a store, or even if you just purchase a CD key online and then download the game off the website (you should download if its any version older then BE) you automatically get a free month to try out the game before you are charged to play.

Hope that helps. Good luck and hope to see you in the game.

Thanks for the good info ::::31:: I just bought a key and started playing a little bit. I can't seem to find any missions that are just starting out though...and I end up walking a LONG way to the mission. I'm a huge noob, but I like the controls and I'm sure once I actually join up with people it'll be more fun.

When looking for a mission that's an attack look for missions that have a little truck icon next to them. That means you'll spawn next to a transport truck near the objective. You might only have to run for a few minutes.
