so after about a year i'm back into ffxi. i got thrown onto the hades server, which is ok because most of the people i used to party with during my valefor days have since retired from the game.
the only problem i have been having is finding a linkshell. back in the day people would piratically throw these things at you, no i can't get one from anyone. i've tried these forums under "looking for linkshells" to no eval, i've tried shouting and all of that good stuff. still nothing.
i am curious if it is possible that in the past year or so i have been absent from the game if it has become a little bit "cliquey". because i'm guess most of the players have been around a while now, that no one has an interest in helping out the new guy.
just curious if anyone else has made similar observations..

If u were on Ramuh I'd gladly give u a pearl for my linkshell. I think it all depends on the server and how its community has grown to behave like. In my server people are quiet friendly and help out alot. Generally I feel that sometimes u have to earn a spot in people's hearts and they way to do that in the gaming world is to become good and have the proper behavior. Good luck to u!
