Basically u can find out alot on the official playonline site. They way I c it, it is more like an altered RDM because they will have both melee and spells. I read somewhere that they will also be very effective tanks. I'm guessing from that that they will have a good lineup of defensive spells and abilities.

Not much is known yet, just the vague descriptions on Square's web site. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that the description states they turn the monsters' abilties against them. Apparently, like the blue mage in earlier FFs, he will learn abilities by copying mobs' abilities. Exactly how this will work isn't known yet.

Yeah.  From what I've read they appear to be similar to the RDM job.  However, using monsters abilities.  If it's like previous FF's then to learn the ability, a mob will have to hit you with it.

Actually this isnt a random move at all.
They are from Final Fantasy (the games)
They eat monsters and learn new moves.

I believe BLU is a pretty good addition to the job list. The whole Arabian nights theme of their armors looks very cool!
