My gaming email group just had a discussion about the veteran trials. The most common remark was that the game play was 'ok', but the bugs prevented anyone from subscribing.
On one-hand I can see that the NGE needs to be marketed, but on the other the systems aren't stable. SWG has such a history with problems that you'd think SOE/LA would make an effort before show-casing the new product.
Like El, I pretty much block or send emails from SOE to my spam account. I read about the veteran trail via my Hyper Space account with StarWars.com.

A 15 day freebie account for all vets. Similar to 15 for nooblets only with your old toons.
I nuked my toons so this is aimed at someone besides me. It does prove to all the 'well if you hate it, leave' flamers that without the vet player base, this game is heading bottom side.
I said it before, I nver hated NGE, I just hated how it was fed to us. Classic servers would have kept me, now I doubt I will ever go back. I did have fun in my time there and thank SOE for that. I just keep wondering how long I would have played if they hadn't shot the goose to get the egge?
