in World of Warcraft

If I buy world of warcraft right now, do i get the first month free?

If yes, then do i have to put a credit card number?(for the first month only)

    Yeh, you get the first month free and yeh you do have to input your credit card number OR you can use a game time card (60 days), otherwise you can't play.

    Afraid so. I think the minimum subscription time is two months, and to get the free month you have to subscribe.

    so much for a "free" month......

    i dont have a credit card and i  cant steal from my parents....(cause they live 3000 miles away)

    so i cant play WoW?

    If there is no possible way of getting your parents credit card (not stealing, just persuading) then you can't play WoW unless you buy a 60 day time card. Combined with the free month this will give you three months to play the game until to need to buy another time card. So if I were you, just buy a time card from a store (don't know if you can, there isn't any shops that sell them around my town).

    You won't be able to buy a time card from an online store since you'll need a credit card.

    Well since you live in the US you most likely have a circuit city/best buy/Ebgames around you right? go check there for a WoW timecard.

    You don't have to really subscribe to anything, but you do need a Credit Card. They will charge you after the 30 days free is over (they will charge the amount you chose at sign-up)

    Nah, it's not 2 months. If you just cancel your subscription before the next month it wont bill the second month.

    Actually, cc is not necessary cause they don't validate it until after the first month passes. At least in Europe, don't know about the US.

    You have to provide a number, but it doesn't have to be real - it just has to have the same number of digits as a real card number. I know some people who did that, activated the free month and changed the payment method to gamecards before the first billing date.

    The sad thing is the only thing stopping you from stealing your parents Credit Card for a game is the distance. What kind of kid steals money from his parents to play a game? Absolutely ridiculous. You don't deserve to play.
