New and totally different
I was a old player of neocron, recently rejoined again.
Neocron once was really annoying, bugs everywhere, constantly restarts etc, as result I stopped playing after a while. I particulary hated the sync errors as well as server resets.
I have kept an eye on the game lately after 2.0 was released, apparently some of the problems still existed, but after the recent major update 2.1, which I could say has much more fixes from 1.0 - 2.0.
Instead of doing the trial etc, I bought the game online for like £4 pounds (with 30days freeplay) which was a bargan, I thought if it is crap and buggy like before, I would just cancel and waste £4.
To my suprise, the server population was much higher than before, according to the forum lots of old players r coming back (the free 10 days trial added to all accounts) as well as lots of new players, they devs have also spent quite a lot of money advertsing their product unlike before (seen them around on many websites, include this one!), which I think they are under new management or something. Good news is the population is way up
, some bugs still around, but no where near as bad, hardly noticable.
Few things to clear up, Click2Pay is still the worest payment ever, They actually call you in your home to confirm your payment details, and some card numbers can't be reconqlised. I recommend "pay by cash".
