Mechwarrior Board Battles

I'm remembering back in college when we used to play Battletech/ Mechwarrior (can't remember exactly which it was called), on huge 3d boards with landscapes, miniature trees, and miniature mechs and trying to find possible information on such games/boards out there.  I'm comming up w/slim results and was hoping some of you guys out there have played this and possibly have sites where I can obtain such games.  Any help would be appreciated.
