Is there a trial or anything like it for this game? I really want to try it before I buy it. I just don't want to waste the money if I don't like it. I heard of a buddy pass, the question is, how do I get one? thanks, -Mat

    You know somebody who bought the Vana'diel Collection, which is the latest NA release of the game. A buddy-pass (trial account with no charge for buying the game and the first 30 days free, you don't get the two expansions) was included with each one. There's also supposed to be a deal about getting buddy passes for buying certain hardware, but I'm not really certain how that one works.
