im 16
started playing mmos about 5 years back
first i did ps, and got sick of it since it was so repetitive.
The next mmo i tried was uo
i loved the freedom in the game
however the graphics turned me off
and i left it and went to wow where i realized graphics arent everything
im playing ao now and love it
but i miss the freedom of uo
I was considering returning but i have a few questions
1)is the community still strong??
2)is this game dying??
3)is there a trial??
4)is the gameplay as good as it was 3 years ago??

5) Are there a lot of tradeskils,
i like crafting and things that games have but i love it when u can like
chop trees, fish, tame animals mine, and all that rater than just mixing things.

I tried this game out my friend and its very complexed.
And played it for 4 days till I gave up. Unless your a serious diehard, then
this game is for you. If your just experimenting with MMORPGS out there,
try out the trial and you will see what I am talking about.
I just wish I would jumped in this game years ago, its way to complicated
for me now.
But goodluck.
1.UO will always have a decent community. There arnt as many people playuing now as 2 years ago but definately enouogh people still around.
2. See above
3. Try www.uo.com
4. Depends for me the gameplay went down after pub 16 and went to crap after AOS so if you played before AOS then yes its a different game if you started after AOS you wont notice a huge difference. I heard they had a bunch of in game quests now.
5. Yes UO has imo the best trade skills you can chop wood , mine, fish, mix potions, scribe spells, treasure hunt etc..etc... I miss all the things like that it offered.
""But Coyote, you could learn! You only prefer keyboard and mouse because that's all you've ever known!" You might say right before you hug a rainforest and walk in sandals to your drum circle where you're trying to raise group consciousness of ladybugs or whatever it is you dirty goddamn hippies do when you're not busy smoking pot and smelling bad."
Coyote's Howling: Death of the Computer
okay, well i tried it.
i liked it, tho im not switching.
Its fun and the freedom is nice
The graphics are nice, too many people bomb on them.
I just dont like the point and click gameplay so much :P:P.
