I played SB way back when it first came out, but quit when my gaming group wanted to play something else.  I remember SB being good but not great.  Has anything changed?  I noticed their official site has a lot of RP stuff on their boards and whatnot and was wondering if SB has taken a more RP-friendly slant.

What, if anything, has improved since launch in SB?  Also, does anyone know of any good RPing guilds in the game?

My experience with Shadowbane:

Delita Hyral: Are there any rp guilds?

Player 1: Rp?

Delita Hyral: Roleplay

Player 2: Gross!

Delita Hyral: Well this is a rpg...

Player 2: No it isn't.

Player 1: It's MMOPVP!

Delita Hyral: I don't like pvp because of the whining.

Player 2: Yes the whining does suck.

Delita Hyral: If I wanted to hear whining I'd go play counter strike, and be called a noobbiscuit every time I would kill the opfor.

Player 1:You want a noobbiscuit?

Player 2: Shadowbane is medival counterstrike!

*Delita Hyral has left the Guild*

That ends my Shadowbane experience and the life of my level 21 Crusader.

As for whats changed:

Soft levelcap is increased to 75

All characters past level 60 will gain 1 ability point per level

To get the rest you must purchase the new expansion that came out today. Yes, you still rubberband like crazy and server resets are still frequent etc. The first 20 or so levels were fun for me though, if you group often.
