Afew Questions about RF Online

in RF Online

What style of system does it use in-game?

WoW style? – Open game with some dungeons and areas instanced
Guild Wars style – Every thing out side of town instanced
Legend of mir style – all open play with no instancing

Would it run on a pc with the following specs?

AMD athlon 64 3500+
1024 RAM
GeForce 6600
576k I-Net

How long has the game been out/in beta or what ever?

If it’s in Beta is it still possible to sign up?

Is it possible to pre-order it now? And if so where from (uk version)?

The game looks like Phantasy Star Online, is it anything like it?

    wasent going to answer as i know very little but guess its better than nothing.

    As for what I understand the game uses more wow style. 3 factions compete for mines and the mines are in instanced zones. These instanced zones cannot be compared to wow's tho. They are much larger and you you will still have the feeling of playing in an open world.

    Yes, it will run quite good on your computer. Anything would ::::20::

    Rumour had it that the first beta(of three) was starting today, jan. 3rd. No news on their website at this moment though.

    Dont know the game you are refering to. RF-online will be a mix of fantasy and science fiction. I dont see how this is possible due to balance(gun vs. sword?) but sure sounds interresting, dont you think?

    Yeah I'm very interested in rfonline as well and the sci-fi/fantasy mix is interesting to say the least.

    Does anyone know if we will only be on NA servers or will we be able to play withe the asian markets.

    I'm going to go to some of the game stores later today to see if I can get the pre order beta.

    I'm already signed up for the beta, but nothing yet just waiting, but I think I'm just going to buy it a go from there to feel out the play styles, I've played Lineage 2, FFXI and city of heroes as well as guild wars and I'm looking for something new to keep me interested for a long time and some of the others just haven't had that " I'll just play a little more." thing that makes questing enjoyable. And while a lot of people love WOW it just doesn't have the look to the characters and the world that attracts me to it like other mmo's. Conan also looks sweet, but its still down the road.

    Anyway off to get my pre order.
