let me translate the moste important parts of it for you english folks ^^:

- history of the expansion is around dragons which live in an empire of clouds and rule over a new race called aviaks

- there will be 10 new levels for adventurers and crafters

- 25 new types of mobs

- new zones like floating isles, jungles, temples etc

- there will be a new achievment system which gives the player the chance to individualize his character (read AA)

Good thinking scaramoosh ... they should never add levels so the high level people will leave. I’m sure that will encourage new players.

well i think it's good to add levels. possibly more archtypes. i mean the more the merrier and if pvp is comin then u dont want every1 to be maxed out. also more levels means new abilities. lastly, if they keep adding expansions im gonna be disinterested. im not gonna go buy all these like eq1.

I think it is awesome that the EQ2 team is increasing the level cap and adding AAs.   I mean, think about it.   Now, all the experienced players are going to be working on their AAs and the next 10 levels, so, SOE wont hear much complaining from them.   In the mean time, they can work on more low level content etc. 

SOE is doing a great job with this game.  They keep shelling out more content quicker than we know.  Nice work Devs!

well considering that you can by desert of flames with the original game for 29.99....thats preatty good.  And alot of expansions is kind of the Everquest trademark

Nah, all new players need to know is to do all the quests they can find.

I made a new player Klei on Najena 3 days ago. All that I've been doing is completing any and all quests that I come across and I'm a hairs breath away from 17 right now. I've probably played here like 6 hours tops so far.

It's real easy too now, with the quest giver circles on the map now.

um.... how long has it been since you loged into eq2...........there has allways been groups for all levels.  I am just below 38 and there are groups allways. 

And there is a new influx of players....so the newb zones are actually preaty full, and you wouldnt believe the amount of new players on th 1-10 chat asking for help.

I'm pretty certain the first 50 levels will be made a tiny bit easier as more aproach 70. Its how mmorgs work.

Maybe on your server.  I started playing 2 months ago and never had any problems finding groups.

Actually I just joined EQ2 recently while it doesnt have the same amount of people WoW did at lower lvls there are still tons of groups and if you really want to get into groups just become a healer lol they are always wanted Fury for ever.

LOL, wow scaramoosh. You REALLY are grabbing out in the air for things to complain about aint you?

First. Not make the cap higher? Yeah smart. Lets leave the longest playing/ paying customers and let them rot with nothing to do.

EQ2 has never been better group wise. Im in groups every time I log in. I am even asked without "LFG" marked or shoutung in the level channels.

Its just great! And I am level 35 have no problems.

Scaramoosh is so lame. I get groups going on the trial of the isle and continue them into the main game. Maybe you act like a dumbass in game and no one wants to group with YOU. TBH.

 

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the expasion looks great and I can't wait for PVP servers.
