No, they would've started with a cash pile--no game makes money while it's in development, after all--and if they haven't run through it, they can continue to operate at a loss. Of course, this can't go on indefinitely.

SWG has been crazy advertising on TV, Im guessing they will be the next to go.  Ive never seen an MMO be advertised like that, i think they are desperate

Ive got two choices, run, or stay and fight...And I dont see no doors...

What's your logic behind stating SWG will die next? (Mind you, I don't really care, but I do dissagree)

I never like to see an MMO die to me its just sad as unlike any other game, they tend to get a real comunity going around them, so it just sad to see it die.

As far as next to bite the dust, Im hoping its UO (not because I hate the game but because I love it) I dont think it will be but what I really want to see orgin do is make a new game. UO was great I loved it for many years but its time to die. And hell give the next mmo you make free to current subscribers with a ingame gift. Ahhh it is sad

Origin no longer exists EA bought them out several years ago. And EA won't make a new UO (Not even sure they can? Did Lord British sell them the license for new games using his title or just UO?). They've already cancelled UOX and UO2.

SWG will die when people stop playing, that will never happen.

Tbh it can only get better IMO, how could they make the game any worse?

To all those saying Horizons will die next, well everyone has been saying that for a looong time. It's indestructable, no matter how many times people kick it, it survives like a cockroach through a nuclear winter. Their servers must run on fumes. ::::01::

Will SoE make a NGE-type balls-up with EQ2? Surely they can't be that narrow-minded in their vision to make EQ2 into WoW's bastard stepchild, lvl 60 cap, change to archetypes and PvP on the horizon. As long as they make it more soloable who cares right?
