I've been out of the MMO community for quite a while. But I have been playing the games. Right now I'm playing SWG and I've played games like EVE, WoW, Matrix, EQII, DoAC, AO, etc.
SWG was cool, now it sucks.
EVE is awsome, but the combat is boring.
WoW is Fantasy, Medieval...
Matrix is well.... lmfao.
EQ same as WoW.
DoAC same as WoW.
AO reminds me too much of Runescape.
What I'm getting at here is:
Is there anything high budget that I can look forward to that isn't a freaking Fantasy/Medieval that's going to feature a good crafting system and alot of PVP (preferably based on PVP)? I love playing MMOs, but if I play another Medieval MMO I think I'm going to stick a spoon in my ear and dig my brain out peice by piece. I play MMOs for PVP and I like to make stuff, it makes the game much more versitile. I'm looking forward to LoTRO and D&D:O, but I doubt I will stick w/ either one very long because the whole Medieval scene is overplayed and just plain out getting on my freaking nerves.
