hmm.... maybe youre right but ive never been wiped and never seen a hacker. comunity is nice without spamers and 9 years old childrens saying lol 5 times a second. The PvP is more intresting than any other mmo. The only thing that you are right about is the grinding. But dont forget that the game is still in beta. They will ad more monsters as the game gets released.

    hacker stats 2

Don't even get me started on botters and dupers. As for wipes, you haven't been playing this game very long obviously,

The pvp is interesting i agree with you there, but like i said it gets very old very fast. And yes this game is still in beta, but its been in beta in jp and other countries too for much longer and they havent progressed at all I still dont see the arabs or the europeans in the game yet and thats really whats gonna make the game interesting.

Silkroad Online isn’t THAT bad, I’d say that LineageII was more boring than SRO. It has it’s issues as any free MMO, but I still keep it installed on my HD. I like the glow/aura -thing around everything there, it keeps graphics lively. I started playing as a melee character I think it was in beta phase two… It was fun for first three days, but after that the game was playable for about two more weeks, that’s when I stopped playing it. Just a while ago I’ve seen a thread about phase three of the beta starting and that it had some new content, I decided to give it a try (I had nothing else “new” to play anyway).

This time I chose to be an archer mainly because cold/ice weapon enhancing magic and arrows were a very effective combination. Now my warrior was level thirteen and he had some cash on him, but all low level equipment was long ago sold. Still, I was surprised on how fast I was leveling and getting money with my archer (even with me doing hardcore Skill Point “gathering”). Now I am almost same level as my warrior, have at least three times the cash (taking armor from my other character helped very much), over 1000 of unused Skill Points and it mainly took me one day to get there (I got to level 3-4 on my real first day in one, one and a half hours, so that doesn’t count).

I’ve stopped playing that game, or rather it is on hold, because first I got myself another game X3 Reunion (two days of playing it) and now I’m about to install RF Online beta client after waiting for it SO long (waiting for pre-order keys to be activated, queuing on FilePlanet and finally downloading the client). I couldn’t think of what to do while waiting… I cleaned some hard drive space (had little left even thou my total is over six hundred of gigabytes), made some tea (actually four times so far), checked a couple of forums and finally here I am writing this post. And I can say, writing something is a much more pleasant thing to do to spend one’s time.

Like I said before, Silkroad Online is good for a couple of weeks or even a month, but if you’ll decide to play it, don’t “over do it”, I mean play only a few (between one and four) hours at a time (i.e. per day).

    Cheers.
