Fantasy Earth: The Ring of Dominion

A while back I was surfing the web and came across a game called Fantasy Earth. Now being the big FF fan that I am i tried to do a little more research on the game but nothing has become clear to me.

Does anyone have any information about this game? Is it part of the Final Fantasy series? Is it or when will it be in BETA? Graphics look amazing as the anime style is more to my likeing but is SE really planning on producing this game? Any info would be great
