gunz

gunz is the best gunning game i've ever played. it's just so much better than counter strike which u will get killed in a very short while n has little skills. gunz is a more challenging game n requires a lot of skills to become a pro. its so fun!

    Maybe I'm wrong.

    You see.

I do seem to read your statement as:

"Counter Strike which u will get killed in a very short while" = "I am not good at CS"

"Gunz is a more challenging game n requires a lot of skills" = "This is easier"

It is nearly the opposite of what you might be saying, I know. But I see that CS is fast paced, and if you make a wrong move, or don't use the right weapon, or don't use it well enough... Then you're toast pretty quick. Or if you have a teammate who does some such.

In gunz it seems that you don't get toasted as quick for making mistakes. Which might make gameplay easier. When you refer to skills - do you mean player skills or character skills? Because it looks like you're saying that you don't need to be a skilled player to play CS (and win anything), and that gunz is much more challenging. But it is quite obvious that the challenge of CS was more than you could be bothered to defeat. So maybe what you're really saying is gunz is more fun for a gamer who doesn't have all that twitch?

I'm not much of a twitch myself. And in CS I'm the worst. I could fire ten rounds of some gun against you, and every shot would veer off and strike a wall in your neighbourhood. And when somebody says "Cover me!" I ask "How?"

    Cause I don't know.

But I have played it, and player skill makes all the difference.

    The future: Adellion
Common flaw in MMORPGs: The ability to die casually
Advantages of Adellion: Dynamic world (affected by its inhabitants)
Player-driven world (beasts won't be an endless supply of mighty swords, gold will come from mines, not dragonly dens)
Player-driven world (Leadership is the privilege of a player, not an npc)

    you're kidding, right?

gunz is horrible. half the time you can't connect to a game. the other half of the time you connect to the game but everyone else in the game is lagged out.

movement and control is horrible. graphics are horrible.

    just say no to gunz

Gunz require no skills. The end. Dots on precision, forget anything about tactical movement, elevation advantage, cover and stuff, you can run everywhere, you can dodge and shit while you still shoot with dots on presicion. What in the end matters is your equipment. Sorry to say this, but gunz is a noob game.

Cs is one of the games that you need to put your streng to get that skill, ...

oh gunz takes some skill, don't worry about that. tough for some reason, lagging gives you huge advantages.its not about who's the best, its about who lags most.

Ok, just for kicks im going to go against the grain hereimage. I have been playing Gunz for a few months now (among other games). Until recently I really did not put much thought into the actual game play physics.

I started off like most newcomers and sprayed, sprayed, sprayed, and then sprayed some more (with a SMG of course). Then I discovered a few different aspect's of the game ie: learning the different styles of combat like "Korean Style" which is very hard to master and personally have not even come close to becoming skilled at. "Korean Stlye" uses a very difficult mouse/keyboard combination and is quite fun when you learn the basics. Next, free-for-all deathamatches are boring and honestly does not take much skill to earn a lot of exp because it's basically a bunch of "Newbies" spraying their guns wildy and hoping to get a kill. If you want to have a bit more fun try the team deathmatches where you can have up to 16 players max (8v8). In this scenario once you die you wait until the the winner has been declared (either red or blue team) and the next round starts. Team deathmatch is where you will see more skilled players using verious fighting styles, more tactics, and some very precise combo's.

For the comment about gear making all the difference I highly doubt that you actually spent time with this game. Gear does have a few advantages like higher armor points but not a huge amount, the other advantage as you increase your level is that you have more options for weapons. These options are usually not a huge increase but do help (which with any game having a higher level should give you some advantage over lower levels right?).

All in all the game is in its Beta phase and will soon have more options available like a quest mode where certain items will only be attainable by completeing these quests. They will have more options for character customization, more maps, more gear/weapons etc. etc. The game has decent graphics, fast gameplay, and can become very entertaining once you realize that there is more to it than just spraying and hopeing for the best. If you have some time to kill in between games I strongly recommend Gunz: The Duel as it does have a pretty mean learning curve and can honestly be quite fun. Laterz.

The game does take skill to play but the fun is destroyed by the lag in the game.
Ive been giving people 2 sets of "Wonderfuls" and they still havn't taken the drop.
Theres also like a cheater in every second room I play so i quit the game.

    CS > Gunz
