Well, "best" is really in the eye of the beholder, and I assuming, and hoping, almost none the WoW players as of today plays it under gun-point.
Meaning they indeed think it is the best game for them right now.
If this comes from the fact that most have not even tried anything else or whatver matters little.
As you speak of quality, how can you ever proof what is quality and what is not when it concern things as feeling?
The ONLY way to measure something like that is by the amoount of people who like it.
Everything else is just personal opinions.
Well so is numbers, but it is a LOT of personal opinions.
If we compare it to politics, wich is pretty much personal opinions as well.
At least here in Sweden we decide who will run this country by asking everyone, and who ever gets the MOST votes wins.
Just because you and me think it sucks, by our standards, ( wich may or may not be more educated and based on more experience ), does not mean we are right and they are wrong.
I do not like WoW, it is not a game for me, at all.
But I respect the opinion of 5 million people who thinks otherwise, and I live with it.
I find it much more fulfilling to say good things about things I like then bad things about thoose I do not.
And in all humility, my personal opinion is that this world would be a much better place if more did the same.
Do this mean I REQUIRE everyone to think as me?
No it does not, but I can ask them to, and whatever decision they make it IS the right one, wether I agree or not.

Well, in my country (the good old USA) our founding fathers had enough sense to not set up a Democracy but instead to put in place a Republic. We have this really cool thing called an electoral college. That's who elects our President, not the people. And thank God the founding fathers of America had the sense enough to know that the general public can sway with trends, be easily manipulated by shiny things, and at times make damn stupid decisions based on emotion that they regret later on. Usually, in the case of a President, when it's too late. The masses can be easily persuaded. And sometimes it takes a while for them to come to their senses. This can be applied to many things. That's why we have an advertising industry. They're job is not just to introduce a product. They prey on the masses impressionablity.

I'm amazed how you can still talk good about that system after Bush has been selected as president for the 2nd time.

So you're going to focus on our president to bash our representative Republic government. Are you doing this to defend Democracy? And explain what you don't like about Bush. I'm curious to see exactly what it is you know about our president. This should be pretty funny.

    I agree with OP.

Blizzard is SOOOOO clever in that the grinding does not begin till you hit the cap. So for many people the game is a pleasure to level up with. Then at 60 you have a choice, and thats to grind away to get items, grind away to get honor or re-roll and level another class. Many people enjoyed the leveling process so they re-roll or change faction, or switch from PvE to PvP. They have put in many ways to suck you in to the game.

You have hit on the biggest problem though in the game right now. The casual/harcore argument or now I guess they are calling in the raiders/non-raiders argument. If you do not have lots of hours to play then the game sort of ends at 60. If you are not geared up for the BG's you will get owned and if you cant put in the hours you wont get many ranks, even if thats all you do.

They need to add more content for the non-raider. Lots of ways to do this and I hope they hit on something good.

Yay!!!  A political debate.  I love it when topics turn to this.  hehe.

I've got a question for you.  If you think our republic sucks so bad cuz "Bush Lies" then why don't you explain to us why?  Better yet, I'm going to go on the hunch I have that you don't know what you're talking about and ask you two revealing questions...

1.)  what's the difference between a representative republic and a democracy.
2.)  why have democracies historically never survived?

If you can answer those then I think your credibility will go up more than just saying "Bush sucks."

You're absolutely right. We do defend our country. I understand that's a novel concept for some of the other ones.

Nope, have enough trouble keeping track of this one, I just did not quote myself but I was the one who brought it up in the first place, with a reference to sweden though, not that it seemed to matter much.. :)

Ok alot seems not to understand what i mean with wow is a top grind game like that guy about L2 lol.

I dont mean that if you grind in L2 that get xp from mobs is so low it take ages to get to lvl cap.

Its the way they implemeted it to get epics and good gear endless grinding dungeons or get you rank for pvp what a wurthless rank is btw becouse almost no skill needed, to get high rank lol.

Just play 15hours a day in BG and you get high rank even when your bad pvper thats why ranks are a joke, as so many thinks in wow are a joke just do hundreds of times maybe some thousend of times MC or BWL and you get eventually good gear hehe.

That GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND like L2.

Maybe quests 1 time but wow great blizzard have make a game where quest only 1 time not overe and over again same quest:P

No but you do over and over again same instance i know guys who keep doing SM hunderds of times even when they reach lvl60:P
