What the heck is happening with this game?

I heard about this game well over a year and a half ago, and thought the idea of an MMO completely centered around roleplaying sounded pretty neat. However, development has appeared to completely drop off the face of the planet. Has anyone heard anything? What's the latest?

I thought perhaps to visit the game's official forums to see if there was any info there, but was surprised to discover that THIS VERY FORUM is labeled as the game's primary forums. Kinda sad and not a good sign.

Sadly Lyra Studios depends on their funds from Underlight (their first MMO) to develop Reclamation. But Underlight's customers have dropped off alot sense its prime. So very little money means very little development. Hopefully Lyra keeps pushing on and maybe Reclamation will be borned and a whole new Dream shall be realized!

I believe that you will find unless some serious changes are made, and by serious I mean to insinuate an entirely new crop of investers and staff would need to be handed this project, you're not going to see much of anything.

For those in the know we now realise that one staff member in particular was given and has been given almost total control of game development and story line development with regards to Underlight, the single source of income most everyone keeps saying is depended upon for the success of Reclaimation. The employee described above was given such treatment because the managing director at the time seemingly feared what might happen to the game servers, should the one employee responsible for the continued state of functionality be angered.

I am sure most anyone can imagine what an interesting enviroment such managerial descisions must make for.

In recent times though said managing director has taken his leave of the position, what most might see as a truely positive note.

As luck would have it though the employee who already corrupted the system with the gifts and favours he was shown was promoted to the position of managing director.

I believe should you research the game and company now you will find that it is largely the same group of friends playing for themselves on what is nothing more then a psuedo-public server.

If I were you I would look forward to this years E3 expo and discussion about an entirely new genre dedicated to Immersive On-Line Role-Playing (IORPG).

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
