How much will Guild Wars:Factions cost? It IS just an expansion.

What the topic asks. I mean it seems as though it might not cost as much as a brand new game,but then again you can play it without the original. So how much will it cost?!

I think they could very well get away with charging a new game price for this since it is a standalone product. Though to make it appealing to current Guild Wars players I think they might try to town the price down. Maybe not say $50 but they might charge $39.99. $10 less wouldn't be bad. Or maybe even $29.99. I'd say one of those two prices.
As of yet there is no price been set for it officially. To paraphrase part of the official FAQ it has been stated that the chapters will be priced comparably. It is possible that chapter 2 will be the same price as chapter 1. However it is possible it will be less too. Since other retail games have 2 types of pricings some price the expansions the same as the original release ofthe game and others price the expansions with lower prices.
