I guess, it was boundto happen. If you annoy someone over the net now and you live in the U.S.A. you can be sent to jail through federal law! Only way to remedy the charges is to state your real name.

    If this is real, this is SO wrong in many different ways. So the only way not to go to jail is to have your full name? Who would ever put their FULL NAME on the net is beyond me. I mean this might just help towards spam that is in your e-mail ("want a big wang?"). I mean I know those are annoying and I would love to send whoever is sending me those to jail.

    Thing is it's more bad than it is good. People would have to hold their tongue if they are trash talking (video games is one).

    This is crazy. Who decides what is annoying? Not only that you can throw some mad discrimination in this too.

    So wrong in many ways. This bill has to be taken down. OMG, I might even be . . ANNOYING. image

    I hope your kidding about the Green Party if you're a small government Republican. I think the Libertarian party would be more your style if you're for the government butting out. Green Party is more Socialist.

    Anyways, if you're for smaller government, then you're not a Republican. At least not in the new causes and actions of that party. They're not for cutting spending and programs, they're not for leaving people to make their own decisions, and they're not for freedom.

    Personally, I think the fundamental conservative christians have taken over the Republican party and turned it into a hate group for rednecks. Pat Robertson ran as a Republican and still calls himself one. That's enough said right there.

    I agree with everything said above, that's why I joined the Libertarian party a few years back.  I am tired of the ultra partisan politics in this country.  republicans do not stand for small government, personal freedom, adn personal responsibility anymore.  They stand for what the Democrats stand for now...all about keeping their power.  Plus Libertarians can make fun of both sides, so it's win-win lol image

    It's just a bunch of politics again. And reporters trying to understand the hooplah. From what I could gather it only applies to blogs if you are a guest on their blog, harrasment has been a big deal with it lately. Doesn't apply to forums and for the record my name really is Jeremy. :)

    And.. I'm watchin this con-artist show on discovery channel right now, from what I've seen.. it's best to not give up your full name via the net.

    I think I heard about this law a week ago.

    Yes I agree with everyone that this is a very stupid law.

    It makes you think that someone is making it up but it is true and very bizzare.
