I have just been ganked in WOW, for the first time.

My level 26 warrior has been ganked for the first time in WOW by some level 60 Horde character. And im on one of the only 4 R.P. PvP server.
He kept spawning back in, some friendly level 60 alliance characters showed up, and I shot him with my rifle from a distance. I got 2 honor points for helping to kill him two times.
THAT IS MUCH MORE FUN THE KILLING NPC's with the predictability of a (racial epitaph) Gold Farmer.
I still think WoW should relax its PvP rules. Its too structured, regimented, instanced. What are the PvP's to do but gank lowbies like me due to complete boredom.
You know, that is the only time the game is exciting for me, is when there is real danger around.

Even though I dont play WoW much anymore, my account is still active. I have a 33 Orc Hunter and a 21 Gnome Warlock...
In my opinion the community in WoW is one of the best in any MMO I have played since early UO. Especially on the Roleplaying Servers, its a very good environment.
As for the guns in WoW, they are perfectly in context. Remember this is not medieval, its Warcraft and in Warcraft mechanical technology is as ever present as magic, thats what makes the universe so interesting.
All the stuff about musketeers etc though is spot on

Well you should try to get into the RFO closed beta. They have three different races with the weapons mentioned plus summons for one of the races and it's all pretty good imo. Played the Phillipines open beta and I really liked it so I'm hanging on until it gets released!
Think sci-fi mixed with traditional RPG elements and a dash of anime and you'll get the picture. And no, it is NOT another Lineage 2! RvRvR just like DAoC but with HUGE battles!
Hmm wow have the wursth and most terrible community i have ever encounterd they all talk like 12 year olds who only can talk dumb trash or 1337.
But thats pvp servers dont like servers where only pvp is in BG.

Welcome to pvp take all or go pve dont whine gank corpse camping or high lvls kill lowbees its al in the game if you have a game community that cares for there fellow citizens then you would get revenge or protections like i had in some pvp ffa games.
In wow is no risk you lose no items no xp or hp points only think is walk back to your corps even your loot is still in corps mob enemy can never take it so any whine about been killed in wow on pvp server is carebear:P

This is an old rebutal and most likely not very accurate but you are on a rp server, it's quite possible, however unlikely, that the offender wasn't so much ganking but playing out his or her role.
It's a fine line drawn in sand on a slippery slope but on a RP-PvP server just about anything can be done in the name of true RP. During my time in WoW, I played on Emerald Dream a rp-pvp server, I joined a very rp oriented guild, most were elves and humans and they were all very much so good people and would hardly ever attack lowbies, the exception was undead horde, whome out of pure rp were open season, at whatever level.
Agree with it or not, but sometimes that's what you get from being on a rp-pvp server.

You must have reading comprehension problems, because I clearly stated:
1) I enjoyed that time
2) The ganker has nothing else to do but kill me. This is a result of too many PvP restrictions. He cant rob me, he cant burn my house down, he cant do anything but kill other players, thats me. And since I was of much lower level then him, he was ganking. Its just a term that I used without any derogatory undertones.
3) I WANT MORE PVP! NO RULES!
