Suggestions for a once-a-week event in GW. (I want your suggestions too)

Ok,we all know GW can get boring and dull after awhile. So I decided to make a topic for people to suggest once-a-week events for in towns or outside of them.

Now here's my suggestion.

Ok,we all see those monsters outside/near the towns gates/entrances. Now they never attack or anything they just walk around for you to fight. Well why not have them raid the towns every one day in a week at times that at least most people can be involved in the event.

I mean look at Ascalon City, there are tons of advantage points for attacks that will never have a spell cast off of or an arrow shot off of.

Well,there's my suggestion,where's yours?

PvP in itself can't keep a game alive...trust me on this one. If you update PvP the people in PvE will want an update so then you'd have to balance it out.

Nice idea but the lag and low fps in towns would be unbearable, its already bad enough at times.

Weekly events just outside towns would be better. Like the quest in Beetletun where you have to hold back a few waves of monsters heading for the town or just add new quests every so often, like they did over the Christmas holidays.

There SO much land area wasted in Gw, new quests could easily be added anywhere.

I know the lag would suck, but I heard in the Halloween event in Lion's Arch they had 200 districts. Also,I didn't mean for the event to be in just one town. It could be different for each town if it were a quest, but if it were a monster raid it would be similar with different monsters attacking the town due to the area.

And if you didnt want to be part of the raid then you could go to certin districts that wouldnt have the raid going on in them. like all the even districts would have the raid and odd wouldn't

Actually that would make sense and it would be a good idea. Maybe have 2 or so districts for the event...I haven't been to any really populated places in GW except Sardelac Sanitarium,Pikens Square, and Ascalon City so I can't really say.
