Im pretty bored of WoW, im on like my 4th lvl 60 and the last one I made I was going to go for rank 14 but got rank 12 and kind of fizzled out from pvping 12 hours a day. So I was wondering what other good mmorpgs are out there that offer some good pvp but are also fun to just solo on and do pve stuff. I tried swg and didnt really like it, played ffxi for 4 months or so then got bored of not having pvp and was thinking of either trying daoc or eve or somthing but I heard both of those are a pretty big grind till you get to any good content, so I was wondering if any one knows of any game that might kinda fit my play style.

As a fanboy I have to say try Everquest 2. PvP will be starting in february some time soon. But you can duel and take part in championship in the arenas.
It has great quests and vast deversity. Lots to do, and you have to WORK to get what you want. Not just to to a vendor and buy your skills.

The trail only gives you a tast of what the gameplay is like. On land (need full version) you get a greater and more fun world.
I wouldn't get EQ2 until we see how good these changes will be, hold out till feb 21st before buying.

IIRC, both DOAC and EVE have 14-day trials. Why not take advantage of the trials and explore each of them a bit. Perhaps you'll find something that'll hook you in.
I would say DAoC will be right up your street for pvp as from what i have heard, once you reach level 20, you can level by doing pvp based stuff. I couldn't get into it myself but DAoC is a pvpers wet dream. Eve online is a funny game imo, you either love it or hate it and unfortunately for me, it's the latter but i am tempted to give it another try and see if i can get into it but the pvp there is very unforgiving.
EQ2 i would recommend if the pvp is good (but i really doubt it will be.) I got a character to level 13 on the game and just gave up, it just wasn't for me. If you have a top of the range computer, the graphics are really something and it really makes me wonder how eve beat it for the graphics reward.
Lastly, i would also recommend trying Lineage 2 and Guild Wars, the pvp in L2 sounds top notch but i heard leveling is very long and boring. Guild wars is a pvpers dream if you don't mind the arena style combat but the amount of options and builds you can choose, will keep it interesting for a long while. Unfortunately, it is more of a casual players game and if you're looking for a game to spend 12 hours a day on, i doubt it will realy be for you. The only other recommendation i would have is perhaps RF Online, i havn't heard much about it but apparently the pvp is supposed to be quite good in it.
I would recommend The Saga of Ryzom if you're looking for a change, great story, great community and excellent graphics. You can solo, PVE or PVP if you want. Ryzom just won best story from MMORPG.com
There is a 7-day free trial too. You can check it out at www.ryzom.com

I bought WoW 2 weeks ago, the reviewers were right, its not an improvement, in fact it is the quintissential cookie cutter MMO. I should have known better.
