What would happen if all MMO's went f2p for one day?

What would happen? Tons of computers exploding from to many downloads,and complete chaos?

What do you think would happen?

    f2p for one day? Dosn't make sense...

    If they ALL went free for a day then the freeloading kids would be spread out over them, so individual server load wouldn't get much higher.

    Most MMOs have a free month's trial period anyway...

    basically to be honest Nothing would change for me...I hate downloading games on my small harddrive laptop if they are only gonna be there for a short ammount of time, also They have stuff called "Free trials" and almost 70% of mmo's have them so they basically give you a "free week" instead of a free day...Sorry for shooting down your Idea though,

    Patches alone take a while to download, but if your just starting out and updating your WoW to the recent edition, while thousands of others are doing the same, would take a lot of time to complete.

    I wouldn't be too bothered, unless that one F2P day was a pay-day that allowed me to play one of my current games free for a month. But then that wouldn't happen now would it =D

    They allready are, pretty much every MMO out there is free for at least 7 days.

    They are called trials.

    Only the brand new one does not have trials, and even some of thoose do.
