whats the control system like in Horizons? is it like a normal FPS where you can move the mouse to look around and move with the keys, or is it completely weird like in EQ, where you have to use the keys to look around AND move. Or is it just me...?

The control is like DAOC where you move ith the keys and use the mouse only to highlight things.

About the gamepad, who cares? Its better with a keyboard.

Everything's customizeable.  I'm sure if you wanted to set it for mouse control, you could manually set everything up for it.  By default the game is third-person, but it can be changed to first-person.

Yes, the control system is fully customizable, and you can set it to have mouse look. I came from EQ and I have been able to set up all of my stuff including text color specific to different chat types, as well as being able to change all of your keys around. Once you get used to it its pretty nice. I was pissed at first because I thought there was no mouse look, but once I set it up I was all good. It is a really nice system.

The customability is wonderful. I even got my joystick to work with a new script i wrote. Kinda pointless though, lol.
