Screenshots of characters...

Judging from watching the screenshots of ingame characters...they look very "static" in their pose (if you can even say that). I mean, they don't seem very 'casual'. Looks like they have a broomstick up their.....spine. Is this a beta-issue? Is it just because on the screenies, they hadn't yet designed the 'poses'?
