    Wait till the 7900GTX comes out it is rumored to have 32 pipelines and of course 512mb.

    On Time? On Target? Never Quit?

    That's all they can do with 48 pipes... pfffttt

    At least ATI's around to keep prices down and keep Nvidia moving

    haha thats pretty funny right before i came here i was looking at that new card at gamespot also

    the x19000xtx crossfire and the 7800gtx 512mb SLi are actually very very very close in performance. Look at the tomshardware review. The 7900 sadly, will pwn the x1900.

    48 pipelines will strip the 7900 32 pipelines to the dumpster. i see ati now taking the competition now. GO ATI

    That list is unreliable, it compares a card released yesterday to the GTX 256mb released months ago while leaving out the newest Nvidia card the GTX 512mb. Generally speaking the 1900xtx is faster than even the 512mb gtx, but with that list since it doesnt even include it, it looks like the new ATI card is far faster than anything Nvidia has. Shrug maybe theirs a biased attitude to make the 1900 XTX look as good as possible or some other factor. Either way the thats why i dont trust any hardware review by gamespot.

    okay, look at the freiking benchmarks on tomshardware.com. the 7800gtx 512mb in SLi is ALMOST EXACTLY the same as the x1900 in crossfire!!!!!! LOOK!

    Ok, get it straight. It doesnt have 48 pipelines dude, then it would cost about $50000. It has 16. That is why it doesnt perform as good as you would think, because the 7800gtx has 24. and the 7800gt has 20. therefore they will perform somewhat better. the 48, is the amount of pixel PROCESSERS, NOT PIPELINES, PROCESSERS. Pipelines and processers are different. okay. good.

    plz read:

    $649 for the x1900 XTX, that sure hurts the wallet. Nice to see that ATI is getting back in the gameimage

    Wont see me buying one any time soon but I can dream I guess.

    ATI on top? pfft, will not last long. Never does. Crap cards imo. All my friends that have them have problems all the time. I have always stuck to Nvidia and have not had a problem.

    More pipelines != more performance

    ATI cards have always been buggy and second rate to Nvidias comparable cards (except for Geforce 5000 series). 80% of the time if not more, when I see a game that has driver or graphics issues its an ATI. Not to mention they should just be embarrased for even releasing the X1800.
