From all the info that i have looked up and opinions i have read i am recieving quite a bit of mixed messages about this game and have a few questions
1) Will the main focus of RFO be PvP?
2) Will the 'grind' of this game be difficult (like say EQ for example) or more like WoW (easy)?
3) Will this make the Febuary 22nd release date in the states?
4) How unique are the classes from one another?
5) Most importantly: worth buying and playing?, or should i wait to play vanguard (PvP is most important to me)?
Thanks in advance for any information
Comments
1) It is a PVPers game yes
2) i havent heard anyone say for sure, what i know is 1-30 is easy 30+ is when the fun begins
3) gamestop says the 21st
4) Classes are alright, could be more diverse. But the class trees make it a bit more unique
5) Vanguard i looked into Vanguard and couldn't find a whole lot of info, so ill let someone else answer this quest (most people on these forums cant wait for RFO, so i bet i can quess the responces youll get to this question )

We are not god, Not only are our powers limited, But sometimes we are driven to become the devil himself
In the end, the only opinion that matters is mine...
1) Will the main focus of RFO be PvP? The Mine Wars is where Massive PVP will happen. This happens every 8 hours, and the winning faction has the Mines all to themselves for 8 hours. There will also be free-for-all PK'ing, so you can kill whom you want whenever, Guild Battle in an arena like area will take place.
2) Will the 'grind' of this game be difficult (like say EQ for example) or more like WoW (easy)? THis game eliminates the usaual "grind" By adding a unique skill system. Instead of worrying about exp you want to worry about CP and SP( combat proficiency and skill proficiency).

There's some info on that.
3) Will this make the Febuary 22nd release date in the states?
Well, Phase 1 of the Beta started already so it's likely.
4) How unique are the classes from one another?
Every class is unique and have their own skills to contribute to the group. There is no healer class so teamwork is essential. There are also dual classes. Per say, if you chose to be a Warrior, and at lvl 30 decide you want to take an Archer Higher Class you can. it's not recommended though because mixing classes can lead to a dead-end character. I think that should just be left to the game veterans.
5) Most importantly: worth buying and playing?, or should i wait to play vanguard (PvP is most important to me)?
The game is a very unique one, and whether it's worth buying or not is up to you. It's a very PvP oriented game, and if that's important to you I recommend it. Also this game offers a challeneg to build your character from scratch with custom stats and skills. That being said PvP will be rather interesting and the winner will be due to skill not potion spamming or anything like that.
I really do not think it will be as big as a deal in the NA/Euro RFO as it is in CRFO. They will msot likely ban all IPs(like they have stated before) from places that currently have RFO.
China, Korea, Philipines to name a few will most likely not be able to connect to the NA/Euro versions. Unless they have a way to get around that.
