Hi everybody,
This game looks very nice. Is there any "fan" of Horizons ? Can you discribe what you like or you don't like in this game. Is there a lot a way to customize your character ? ( Hair, face, beard ( I love Dwarves) , ... ).
How is the magic ? Powerfull, with nice effects ... ?
How are the graphics ? How are the weapons, armor, etc ... graphics ?
Is there a good roleplay between players ( in general ) ?
What do you play ( Race, classe, ... ) ?
About the community ???
Well, I am really looking forward to having your point of view in details !
I hesitate to buy it ... because in february there's Lineage 2 !!!! And it looks very nice !

There are so many ways on some of the races [like Sslik] that I doubt there can be 2 of a kind.
Magic is pretty nice. Spells are hard to get a hold of and you are stuck with lowbie spells until you can pay a player to make a spell for you. The effects that I have seen are pretty cool looking.
Graphics are sub-standard. The terrain looks a bit like EQ's and the characters look EQish as well. The weapons look tight and they get bigger or smaller for each race. For instance, a bronze sword looks tiny on a dwarf warrior but huge on a half giant.
I know some guilds are making their own quests for their guildmates. Thats all though. The roleplaying server doesn't exactly have much roleplaying.
I have played a Human warrior and an Elf Scout. The warrior is ok but my scout is more fun IMO.
Except for my former asswipe guild, everyone is willing to help. Alot of people give out free bronze items as well.

Yes. There are a lot of customization options. They aren't dramatic, but there are plenty.
So far as I can see, there are very few effects. Powerful? I think so...seems a perfectly viable form of combat. You really need to see how this works at the higher levels, however, to know if it's any good. I don't think many people are at that level of power yet.
They're plenty good, IMO.
I don't know and don't much care. I don't really play MMOGs for the roleplay aspect of it.
I'll be playing everything before I pick anything. So far: Human, Fiend, and Sslik. More to come soon.
It's WAY too early to judge the community of this game. Give it about 3 months before you start to wonder how the community is.
The game has a lot of promise. The engine has some interesting aspects to it. The real test is whether or not there are viable variants to class templates...or are we looking at another Tank Mage (UO) domination, with the inevitable class/engine nerfing to follow. These things will only develop in the months to come. For now, I like what I see quite a bit.
Whoa...sub-standard graphics? Do you have the detail set all the way up? It's not fair to judge the graphics if you do. The game's beautiful if you have it maxed.

it is way too early to juges this yet as we dont have anyoen at max lvl yet, but it looks promising, but the grafig looks nice, the biggest this is the way the are handling the magic witch is diffrent from the main part of of the fantasy gaames out there.
in HZ you have some spell that wel continualy recast so there are like a standart auto combat, and some of the spells are like the nomal buff or instand fast dam, buy they har a long timer so you can only use em every 2 or 5 min. this makes for a diffrent and intresting game play ( still waiting to see how it turns out.)
graphics looks ok, but i have played alot of mmorps and i like to just have good enof grafig to see the diffrent on what i am fighting the rest is eye candy, so i am running on a low setting, but i thing out can get a really good grafigs if you have the cable and the card for it.
sorry i play a dragon and by that i have not grouped or talked with many other player, but i thing well have to see how the community well end up
i play a Dragon, this is mainly a solo class and gives for a non soacial game play, i well not sugest this race to anyone that is nye to mmorpg or someone that playes HZ to have fun and play with others
yes a dragon can group, but nomaly they dont, and there are many other major things in the game that dragons are not apart of, ( house building, crafting, plue more )
dragons only really talk/soacialce with other dragons
cant really say anything about the community yet, game is still too young and well sty that way for another 3 to 6 mounth
over all i see this as a good game, but alot is still to happen and we have only started on the road, and you can never tell what is around the next corner
so i am a addict .. i can live with it

Nah. The game's OK at max settings, but doesn't meet the standards set by MMORPGs coming out in the near future.
I beta'd the game, and have played it for about 3 months. Graphics in the Blight areas are cool, but nothing to scream about.
