Save Heroes of Might and Magic 5!

The Heroes of Might and Magic 5 community has joined forces to force Ubi into pushing back the release date so that the game is released in a finished and fun state.

Right now, the game is scary broken and needs a lot of work, with only a month at most to work on it before being manufactured to meet it's release day near the end of march.  Game mechanics, storylines, lots of content, online play, AI, all of it is in a pre-alpha type state, not anywhere near release, and there's no way the small team working on it at Nival could fix it in time.

Please visit www.saveheroes.org and sign the petition to save it.  Spread the word!  If you haven't yet checked it out, the multiplayer beta is open on Fileplanet (http://www.fileplanet.com/) to anyone who wants to play it, so you can see for yourselves the terrible state it's in.

    I shall have to look that up.

    I am a devout fan of the series and HOMM3 in particular, didnt care much for the 4th installment though.

    Messing this release up would be a crime.

    Did you play HOMM3 online?  Were you amongst the ranks of people who only ever used Necros?  Cheap ass Necros...  That is what ruined it for me, for at least the online portion of it...  I loved using Crag Hack and the Barbarian race, but everytime I played online the Necros would mop up...  Just like the AWP in CS...

    No, I never tried it online, other then with a friend on a peer to peer.

    Never via gamespy or anything.

    By Necros do you mean the undead city?

    I usually go for tower or castle, ( Archangels or Titans I think ), I wanted lvl 5 spells in my town.

    And that genie hero who got chain lightning from the start, can not remember name.

    Still consider HOMM3 one of the best games ever.
