Blitz1941-Open Beta-Really Bad Lag/Packet Data Loss

My first post on this forum, hope I'm in the right thread.
Blitz1941 is a real addictive and playable game, not for me it ain't.
I don't know why but I'm suffering from really bad lag, the likes of which I've never seen before.
I play a lot of mmogs and normally have no problem with lag, if I do suffer lag it is not that much.
Blitz is on a Korean server, I play Team Air Attack on a Korean server and get no noticeable lag.
I don't understand why some of us playing Blitz are getting these unplayable lag times.
Other players on the Blitz server experience no lag, some experience a lot. I don't think it is the game server at fault.
It maybe the number of "hops" or the "route" from my IP (England) to the Korean server which is the problem.
I normally have very fast ping times on other games, I have 2Mb/s BroadBand service.
Is there any way of speeding up my connection to this server ?
