I would have to sumise from this that each of the alliance races is near thier arch nemises.. (i.e. Dwaves/ Orcs and Goblins, Empire/ Chaos, High Elves/ Dark Elves.)  This makes me wonder if the Warhammer world layout will be the same way as it is shown in the tabletop games.  I doubt it will be the entire world, but in the old days, there was only the map of the "old world" from Bretonnia to the World's Edge Mts., and from the Realm of Chaos to the Boarder Princes.  The other realms such as Ulthuan, Naggarath, and Lustria were it's own little cut-out.  That was in the "New world" and there was no map of the entire world.  But if that's the way they're going to do it, how will they facilitate the Dark Elf/ High Elf fighting for territory?  Unless they have actual Ship to Ship conflict?  Because the Elves are the lords of the Sea.  High Elves have a special division called the Lotheran Sea Guard.  The Dark Elves are always considered Raiders, and some of their standing army called Reavers are the marines.

The Warhammer World resembles much of the layout of earth.

The Dark Elves reside in northeastern North America.

The High Elves live on a circular group of islands located where Cuba would be (Ulthuan is much larger than Cuba though)

Chaos is at the North Pole, except it is more of a landmass than it is now (and it appears more twisted, as opposed to a snow and glacier setting)

Empire is where the UK is located, except the UK is not an island, but is apart of the mainland.

The Dwarves live in a mountain range between where Germany and Russia would be.

Orcs live in sparatic areas, some just below the ork mountain range, but there is enough distance between the two to prevent constant conflict.

    Some other Warhammer races include
    Lizardmen - South America
    Bretonnia - France

They would probably create ships alike WoW (though I hate making those comparisons). In the backstory section of the Newsletter this month is a small snippet of the Warhammer map, comprising of just the Old World and closely surrounding areas.

I am not flaming this game in any way..

but that plot sounds like the plot of WarCraft 3.

I'm still going to buy it though, the plots to MMORPGs arent that important to me.

    Thats because it is!....but reversed.

Warcraft is heavily based off of WFB, and the same thing with starcraft and WH40k. There have even been rumors that Starcraft was a WH40k game that Games Workshop gave up on, with Blizzard taking it and changing some names and models, but those are false.

Both games are great though, but hopefull Warhammer Online will be even better than WoW ::::40::.
