As some may know, Turbine and Microsoft have announced that Microsoft Game Studio is selling the Asheron's Call Franchise back to Turbine Entertainment. Eventhough this includes AC, ACDM and AC2. I think this is truely going to benefit all of the AC fans. However the changes we know of at this point is to the most popular one of them being AC1.

At the moment they have already stated that there is now going to be an expansion for AC1. But not to exclude in this is that there is going to be even a Graphical update to AC. YES, Believe it or not. AC is going to get a facelift.

Dev Chat Scheduled for Thursday Night

Wow.

We knew that the response to the acquisition announcement would be positive, but we've been touched and humbled by the volume and sheer emotion of the response so far.

hm... you know, I would've cared about.. 2 years ago.. not anymore.  M$ has already messed up the games enough for me.  I'm just gonna go for WoW, if that sucks, then EQ2, and if that sucks too, then I'll go back to turbine with middle earth online.

ummmm for AC1 wasnt that released 3 years ago ive never heard of anyone adding an xpansion to a game after 3 years and theyve released the sequel

Seriously best mmorpg that had a dev team dedicated to make'n monthly events that were challenging and a world that was never boring! 

Now they are revamping graphics and adding more game content?  HELLZ YEA, now i got a reason to hit back the old AC.

Well I said it on the boards already... If AC1 decided to do an update I'd be giving it a try.  *Pulls out ACDM copy* 

Seriously it was the best game I have ever played... 3 years of non-stop month by month fun.  Only stopped to try other games with friends and actually do school work.  If you've never given AC1 a try you just might want to keep an eye on this update.  Unless WOW is all I've been hoping for I thik I might have to go back to AC... I hope my characters haven't been deleted...
