i think ddo stress test is a scam

After I fisnish filling out the long boring form when I make a new account.
I clicked on button "submit".
I GET A 404 Page.
Finally on 6:55 pm california time I finally got my account .
it was driving me 
because i try to input my key and info every 5 mins for 2 hours.

I kinda have to agree with you on this one
After I finished doing my registration it tells me the reg key I got was no good and I need to contact the group that gave me the key.
I copied and pasted it from both my email from fileplanet and also from the website
With only a 2 hour window to register (which is crap imo) there is not much room for them to fix everything and make it so people register.
Right now I am siding on not playing it at all since with MMOs these days coming out woodworks I refuse to buy their software and pay the monthly fee unless a free trial is given so I can see if it is worth it to me.
Open betas and stress tests are the perfect place for me to get this trial in and right now it looks like I am not going to get and I refuse to pre-order so they can say their game went gold or whatever they use those numbers for.
Maybe if you did not notice there are tons of people trying to get in at once. The web servers are just being flooded, keep trying to get in. I did for about 20 min and I finaly got though the whole registration.

Had to just keep trying and trying to get through for me. The key they sent me directily from Turbine didn't work either, but the one from file planet finally worked (after dozens of refreshes).
I got in after 15 or 20 mins of trying. It kept giving me errors when I tried to enter my key. Looks like the STRESS TEST was good for Turbine to do. Other wise opening day would be awful. Now they can see they are no where near capcity to handle the people who want to play this game.
If they feel they didn't get enough people through the whole process they will likely reopen registeration tomorrow. They need to set a narrow window to test their web-servers.
They are just abusing their fan base in the process
Before anyone else reads this and gets upset, these people are really lacking information. If you got the key from GameSpy they didn't tell you it was only good to put in on the 7th after 5pm PST. They later cleared that up for those of us not smart enough to figure it out (or read more about it from the page, it was written down). Turbine gave out a ton of keys from GameSpy for this Stress Test so around 5pm PST everyone tried to register at once, no webserver can handle that load. To be fair to those angry, Turbine really should have been able to handle the load better. I tried around 5pm PST to get to the registration page for the beta, but it was way too bogged down and I got through once only to find they said my key was bad. I went to play some games with my friend and girlfriend and came back around 11pm PST and everything was fine and working great, no problems with getting to the page. Just have some patience. The Stress Test isn't a scam, no one stole money from you, no one took anything from you at all. If you didn't care to read the FAQ on the DDO site to see that they had addressed the issue before GameSpy (they also have an entry on the preorder beta keys not working) or try to re-read the page about the stress test and look at the information, that's not Turbine's fault.
Give them some slack guys, every MMORPG has problems before launch. I remember WOW's servers crashing horribly even after beta, I also remember sitting in a queue for an hour just to play the game!
