I'd need to say WoW just from what people around me have said about it OK, mister backwards-man, read the rules again.Misses.. and whatever Social cliff-jumper, if everyone else is doing it.No really.. people very close to me have told me NOT to play it.. And I know alot of people that have said it is dumming down MMOs in general.. don't flame me 'cuz I said it..Believe it or not, I think were all curious what you dislike the most, not what other people dislike the most. Thats how polls work.
I dislike it because what people have said about it
I don't dislike swg because I stopped playing before nge hit..
Meridian 59 UO pre Trammel EQ Asherons Call AC2 DAoC Shadowbane EVE EQ2 WoW guildwars (not really an MMORPG, more like a single player game with coop) (and some I might not remember atm)
really enjoyed: UO (not my taste any more), meridian 59(my first MMORPG - totally not my taste any more), EQ, AC, Shadowbane (great but too many problems), EVE(great but timeconsuming), EQ2(great), WoW(great but boring too quickly and PvP is a joke)
games I would play again: EQ2, EVE (subscribed), WoW(with someone new to the genre)
worst game: DAoC - no doubt about that:worst UI and annoying controlls. incredible amount of cheating, unfair advantages to people with second acounts, idiotic time sinks. AND looks awful
close second: AC2: like a razor blade to my depression. a suicide help. (even at start - played from day 1) empty towns, you could NOT enter ANY building, confuse and stupid economy, incredibly hard gathering of good items
my most positive memories were from: EQ race war servers rallon zek (if I remember the name correctly) AC - loved the combat system, especially the bow EQ2 - the sheer amount of GOOD quests and the beautiful game engine. I loved the combat system and the profession/race possibilities - far better than WoW in that respect WoW - was REALLY fun - even if it was over in a few weeks
and finally: EVE - the only true sandbox and virtual reality. hard and timeconsuming, but rewarding like no other game. and really beautiful

that's a trap many fall into... the first thing you can do is seen as the only thing you can do...
played E&B beta... earth and boyond had a much better way of getting people familiar with the game....
EVE has a new, extensive tutorial now and while the start is still far from being earth&beyond, once you get to know the game, there is much more you can do than in E&B
but every new player should take some time reading the official board first, the new players section. there are a lot of helpful postings from players now that explain to you how EVE is working....
