Start again?

Is it worth to start playing DAOC again? I quit along time ago, i think 5 month after it was released.

Will i have any fun?

Will people be way ahead of me and i cant team up with them until i level(grind, *sigh*) up to their level? Or are there still newbies like me coming back to this game?

Anything else i should know about before i even consider starting to play this game again?

The only game ive comeback to and stayed is EvE because im not a powergamer and i play about 4-5 hours a week., is it the same thing with DAOC? Do you have to be a Powergamer to play this game or have fun?

The game is so vastly different than it was back then that I would recommend giving it a try.  The free trial is free   If you want to buy the full game then I recommend picking up the epic box at gamestop for $19.95.  It includes 30 days of free play.

The game is very different. Leveling is so much quicker. It is very casual friendly now. If you can only play 5 hours a week, then I would suggest you play on the Classic servers. You just really would never have time to do any of the ToA content on the regular servers.

There are still new players coming into the game.

There are people who will powerlevel you if you want.

They have added level specific battlegrounds to the game so you will be able to RvR at low levels and not just at 50.
