I read the FAQ, and there's a few things I was still wondering.
1) I don't quite understand why ToA was a big deal and why there are different types of servers (Classic vs. Normal) and even which one I should play on.
2) I plan are starting as caster type, since the FAQ said they were one of the easier lines to play. Is there a specific line of spells that I should stick with, say if I were to either be an eldritch or wizard?
3) I was also thinking of trying the Valewalker class. How well do they function in different aspects of the game? (solo, group, RvR)
Thanks so much guys, I'm really looking forward to giving this game a go.

I started 3 weeks ago and am overwhelmed at all the differant classes n stuff u can do, I am on Garreth server Midgard and so far have made 5 differant toons and am gonna make a few more to lol.The fact u can make up to 8+ toons give u the flexibility to experiment with the classes n see what u like best. I was so into being a thane off the start but kinda drifted towards bonedancer and warior.
I prefer classic servers but never tried the original because Gareth seems to have more population, 2200+ in peak hours. From what I gather classic servers are ToA free and ToA has quests for amulets and relics that give big edges in rvr. I also heard original servers have low noobie populations and that is only hear-say since I never been in one but I see they get a max of 1000 or more on some and as low as 300 players on others. I also seen PvP (Mordred) server and a few RP'n servers.
