Free for all PVP GAMES

Hi all guys.
I played for 4 years with Neocron first and Neocron 2 later.
I think that this has been the best mmorpg i have played.
Now after 1 years that i played other games im back again hoping to find something realy interesting.
If you have ever played neoron you shoud know that i need to find a sci fi mmorpg wwith the free for all pvp sistem.
I was llonging for a mmorpg where you realy can paly and feel inside another world and where getting a works means realy be useful to the comunity( not as WOW).
I need a mmorpg that can let me kill olso a frined of mine if he has done sometingh that need to be punished with his death.
I need a mmorpg where you can have your home.
I dont need istances or Quest or good grafic.
I need a mmorpg where you fight for a good reason, as taking a territory and defending it with my clan.
I dont need a mmo where you fight just for gaining point thatwill let me gain an item.
I need a mmorpg that let me loose some of my items whene i die so that my killer can take and use it...( i need to cry ... lol ).
Any one o you know a game as this?
Please help me ...i realy miss a mmo

    I suggest Darkfall Online.

It is open pvp with territory and resource control, city building and conquest, with a skillbased system.
    Fantasy setting.

    You just described EVE perfectly.

I am an "EVE Fanboi" but even ppl who don't play eve can say you described it.

Pretty much the only reason to fight in EVE is just to fight or for RP reasons. Usually the RP reasons are based on Race.
The game is based around PVP. Everything is done to accomplish some sort of PVP goal.

If you put your real EMail on your profile, I sent you a free 14-day trial to EVE-Online.

And if you like Text Browser games (not MUDs, not anything like what most non-text game player think of as text), try http://TDZK.net it's a great game much like eve, but came way before it. (they were both based off the same original game Trade Wars) Turn based on ship speed, so it doesn't eat a whole lot of time.

Msg me if you need some help in it. My pilot name is Redart and my ID # is 398. A new round just started, so it would be a good time to join. I'm listed as a "Guide" anyway, so I won't mind. I get msg's from new players all the time.

When most ppl think of Text games they think of MUDs or something simliar. TDZK doesn't feel like you're playing through text, infact it's a browser game and has many pictures and you really feel like you are in a ship in a graphical game.

Yep. I played EVE for a while and don't even like it, but you did just describe Eve.

Everquest 2. Feb 21 PvP servers open up.

Cant see how you described EvE as it does not have homes or instances. If you enjoy looking at little red pluss symbols "+" all the time, then yeah, EvE is for you.

Shadowbane is the best open combat game on the market atm. Sure, it has crappy graphics and the game engine isnt the greatest, but there isnt anything else out there worth a damn.

Plus you can roleplay like you could in (oldschool) UO, and are not locked into a "non killable faction" like these moronic RvR games to date. You choose who you work with (which can make life hard for a new player).

I cant count how many times I pked Mayor Winfield in Pax Lair (UO chessy), but he still endured and kept his faith in his little town. Nothing beats that, but Shadowbane can recreate that (since Trammel killed "that" in UO). If you try..

The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

For the morons who are blind and told him to check out a fantasy mmo, he asked for a Sci-Fi mmo.

I don't personally like EvE either, but I think you should try the 14 day trial. This is the only other Sci-Fi mmo that has a free for all PvP system. Not sure about Planetside, but check that one out just in case. It is a Sci-Fi mmo also and is becoming free from what I've heard.

Ok you have obviously not ever played EVE. If you have you only played EVE for a few min and was like "this sucks"

Yes. Eve has homes. Not houses, but you can own stations and mining facilities.

Yes. Eve DOES have instances. You get them on a mission and you get a bookmark to place that only you or your gang can warp to.

So you're wrong on BOTH accounts. Don't act like you know about a game you've never played.

And where did you see these "red plus symbols"?
That also just shows me that if you did play that you only played for 5min or you got it off a screen shot once.

It's not the fact you're talking bad about EVE that makes me mad, I couldn't really care less; it's that you're talking bad about something you have absolutely no knowlege of and you have proved it in 2 sentences.

Not to put holes in your account. but EVE DOES NOT have any instances. The space between the celestial objects that you can warp to is continuous. If you are in that space, anywhere, anytime, you can still be found - even in mission deadspace complexes. Now, there is a difference between mission complexes and normal "public" complexes: the mission complexes actually spawn when you accept the mission and despawn when you complete it. Try running a mission with a buddy and watch the whole thing go poof when your mate returns to collect the reward. Then watch when your running that mission in low sec and you think you're safe, because you're in an "instance", but then a player pirate warps in on you... Doesn't matter where you are in the game, you can still be found (cloaking can really complicate the matter, though). Learning how the game works will save you a lot of grief later.

Just wanted to clear up a misconception,
    GL!

    LoL ::::26::

So I was wrong. But that might keep me alive if I ever start missioning again, lol. I always thought it was an instance when you went through one of those spawed warps.

complexes feel like instances, because they usually are only found when you do a mission in some deadspace area... so it's a popular misconception, dont be too angry with yourself ^^

but to answer the original poster:

EVE really IS what you are looking for, and EVE has all the good sides of instances with complexes, but not the bad ones. it HAS many different areas with monsters and so forth, and you are still in a believable alternate reality. no stupid zones and no on...

BUT read the "new players" forum at the official boards. get to know the game and what it is about, BEFORE you start it. EVE is just too different from all other MMORPGs. it offers so much freedom, that often new players think there is nothing to do, or it has no content, which is total nonsense.

EVE is all about player owned space, player built stations, player run economy, player created lore. ONE world, where everything you, your corporation and your alliance does, matters.

EVE offers relative security in about 30% of the star systems, and total free for all PvP in the rest. so you wont be ganked as a new player, if you stay in NPC space (at least it IS highly unlikely) but you will be, once you enter 0.0 space, especially if you didnt join a player run corporation.

if you join a player run alliance, and they control several star systems, you are relatively secure even in 0.0 space, if it is owned by your alliance. but that relative is a little more relative than the first one ^^

anyway: get to know the game, it is hard to swallow for most new players, but it is rewarding, especially in the long term, like no other game. solo or multiplayer

ok the first impressions are this :
I didnt told to the first topic but i had played 2 week to eve too.
The fact is that unfortunatly i got bored soon as you was talking in the forum.
For me ,the spece is wonderful the first 2 days you move inside. After moving from a side to another doing missions was getting me tired so after 14 days that i was moving inside it and after joining a clan hoping to do something funniest was too bored to try to go on.
This is just a personaly impression.Probably i love too much the way too see a body to move.
I saw all the games you told to me and i think that the best 2 are Eq2 and darkfall.
I m disappointed anyway from EG2 just for the fact that i cant kill friends.
So i will probably wait Darkfall that seams to have all im looking from a mmorpg, olso if it is a fantasy game.
    Thank you all
