No serial number in the security card for Guildwars!

(Weird, last topic never posted?!)

Just got myself a new computer with a decent graphics card (Athlon 64 3200+, 1.5gb ram, geforce 6600 pci-e and 160gb hdd) and bought Guildwars, only to find during installation there is no serial number printed in the security card!

My question is, can/will GW Support online do something about this? I can provide scans of the card (front/back/flaps as proof it being new) or anything else they want, but will they give me a code for it?

Or will they say, take it back to the shop. This is difficult because it's from play.com and will take quite a while to do so!

Also, how long do GW UK support take to get back to you (I havent seen a contact number). Has anyone else had this problem?

Ideas please!

    I'm not sure abou the GW UK support, but for US support it's about the next business day. I think that you should just send both GW UK support and play.com an email about your problem. I think GW UK support will response that you should return the product to where you bought them, I'm not sure. But usually that's the case.

    Well, contacted US phone support and they were very helpful, told me they would solve the problem without me sending it back to the shop (whoo!). They also said the shop might not even have taken it.

    So transferred the details to the UK team so now waiting for them to reply. (It's been longer than 24 hours though, however it is the weekend!)

    The guild war suport team wer very very help full with a smimiler problem my friend had ! so i think with the prwff yes they should be able to
