in Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted

just wondering how good this game is to you'll what abot the graphics compared to like AC2 wich i thought was pretty good

    Well i'd say right now the graphics on AC2 look better and it runs alot smoother not alot of lag, other then that there isnt really much AC2 has on Horizon remember this game can only improve and get better along with FF which looks outstanding. I'm having trouble playing these both at the same time lol.

    what do you really do in horizons i mean in AC2 you run around kill things and go on quests same with horizons?

    Very similar, yes.

    Read the fansites for it.  http://hz.stratics.com  http://hz.warcry.com  etc...  Lots of info about how the game plays.

    Its great. BTW I joined the Order of the Wyrm with my dragon alt so if anyone here is with the dragon cult...Hi!

    Its a great game even though it's still a little rough around the edges!! You might wanna wait a month or so before before buying it.

    I think that's really true of most MMOGs.  By the first expansion they've gotten a handle on class balance and the basic play issues that are a problem in the beginning of a game.  The first expansion usually brings in all the major content that people yell the loudest about.

    Probably not the way it should work in a perfect world, but it sure seems how it works for MMOG.

    HZ isn't half as good as other games on market now.  No where even near touching the level of great games like FFXI and Lineage 2.  Doesn't look as good as DAOC:TOA, FFXI, L2, or EQ:SOL.  IMHO of course.

    Sure but I'm liking the crafting and different style of gameplay more than the graphics.
    EQ just got stale after 4 years...

    Why is it everyone compares new games to either eq or daoc, the answer they were the best of there generation and the bench mark.

    Well most players are now moving away from these games and looking fro new games, yet they cannot shake oss there old ways, maybe if we asked of the current new games being released how does this compare against them ?

    I can honestly say SWG is the worst game of any genre I have ever played.

    So anything i play next is going to be an improvement, and i for one will not compare older games to new ones, its like asking how this games compares against manic miner or jet set willy.

    No game will ever beat the addiction and game play of manic miner or jet set willy for me , but i will never compare new games against classics, it would be unfair

    Is lineage 2 even out in america... or if someone wants to give up their beta, im game... email: daniel AT bendmailing DOT com image.  And how is trials of atlantis, how would it be for a new DAOC player altogether.
