I need a program that...

Can take a sample out of a song. Like I want 00:34 to say, 1:56. I want to cut that out and make it a sample, and send it to someone. What program can do this thats for free?

    Damn I used to know too. I had to use it for my Web Page Design class since all sound clips had to be under 30 seconds to prevent copyright infringment.

    I guess my contribution is that there IS a program. If I remember right it was easy as hell. Just drag across a bar displaying the length of the song and delete.
