News on SOEs upcoming PlanetSide promotion has recently come to light, but we would like to offer some additional details to the promotion information. We would like to offer you and your readers some clarification, and we hope that you can help us by updating your initial posting.
New players will be able to download the PlanetSide Cannon Fodder demo and will be able to play for free through Battle Rank 6. Once they complete BR 6, they will be able to continue to play the game, but will not progress to Battle Rank 7, On exit from the game, they will be taken to a website that will allow them to upgrade to a monthly subscription, which includes the base game, the expansion pack (Core Combat) and the Battle Frame Robotics (BFRs), the giant robot units. Depending on skill, it can take a player up to 30 days to complete BR 6, which will give them plenty of time to see many of the cool aspects of the game. Additionally, players can continue on in the game at Battle Rank 6 for the entire 12 month promotion period.
This program is still in the works, and we have not locked down an official launch date as of yet, but is something that we hope to have live in the next few months. As soon as the program goes live, we will send you a link to the website where new recruits will be able to sign up for the Cannon Fodder program.

Cant trust SOE of anythin they say =....1st they said today and now look next thing you know its next year
In their previous post, they said they were shooting for Feb. 14. Nothing said it was a definite date.
Agree, it was definitely a soft date.
Kind of a bummer though. My 30 day free return ends tomorrow so I won't be playing anymore once it ends unless/until they lower the monthly fee. BR6 is too low, they should have left it at BR8.

Naa I think BR6 is fine, it makes it so they only get 1 good thing, rather unimax, exo with anti tank, r some type of vehicle. YOu give them 8 and then they can get 2 things.
I am in teh same boat, my free month ends this weekened and I am debating subing, I do want to see a ton of BR6's all over teh place, guna make that transportation citation rank increase lol
can someone claify this for me... did you have to be a paying customer before to use this trial or not? because everytime i try to get the trial i require a cdkey activation key

At the moment:
If you were a payng customer or had a trial before you get 30 days if you login to the client.
If not then you need a buddy key
A cdkey activation key is a buddy key, thats why so many people are asking for them
On the topic sorta, With the current system you start of with medium assault, rexo and lightning tank, so you'd actually be able to get Rexo - AV - Special Assault.
