You know, this is a prime example of a bad apple ruining the whole bunch. Not everyone who plays WoW is immature, or 11 years old, etc. It's just those people tend to bleed through more than some of the nicer people you see on these games.

. However, as more people flock to MMORPG.COM you will see the same sort of pattern that plagues the Bliz forums.
For the most part, people in these forums are from a different crowd from the WoW hardcore fanbase. They tend to like MMORPGs in general, not just WoW - so they have a broader perspective on how these games work. They are also a bit tired of the immaturity on the WoW forums and looking for something quieter.
Just pray that the trolls, flamers, and immature players don't overrun this place as well.

Kidding. Yeah I know what you mean. Which is why despite being a Paladin, I avoid the class forum like a plague. I pretty much visit only General and Technical Support. Of course, even those two forums are full of idiots but eh...
You think paladin forums are bad? Try rogue, I avoid that pretty much all the time. I go to realm forums to laugh at the trolls, and that's about it.
The pally forum on WoW has a bad rep for a specific reason. The original class concept and description led most players to believe that Paladins would be a very damaging, tanking class that somewhat resembled warriors. It attracted a lot of PvP players, as well as PvE players who enjoy offensive style play. In reality, Pallies are best played as a defensive, supportive, and healing class; they CAN be offensive and used successfully in PvP but it takes more thinking and strategy. As a result, you have a lot of angry players with a PvP mindset who want the class to be more in line with what they want. The PvE/RP players are relatively quiet and probably just shy away from the forums. The net result is that the forum is full of angry, abusive posts.
Along with the Pally forum, the General and Technical Support forums are also full of some pulitzer-prize winning posts as well.
you know what I hate and I'm sure you've all see it?
when some guy is asking a question about MC or UBS and gets the name wrong of one of the bosses or whatever.
and the reply is nothing to do with his question, it's more like ...
OMG you F%^ing NOOB!!! the boss's name is XXX not YYY you must be some kind of IDIOT!!

I can't imagine in my worst and lowest moment reading a post, seeing a typo and responding like that, where do these people come from ?

Warrior forums is just horrible - trolls and such. i sometimes like the pvp forum and profession one as well. this forum is by far the most civalized though.
