i'm downloading the trial and the TOA expansion, after i install them do i need to download some patches from the site or the updater will star automatically?
Make sure you also get the updated graphics for the trial. See the sticky 'Free Trial with Updated Graphics: A How To Guide... Please Read!!!' at the head of this forum. And welcome to DAoC!

If you bought them through your client you shouldn't need a CD-Key. Basically all the Key does is flag your account as being allowed to access that content. Anyone can download the expansion files no prob. If you do it through your client then obviously your client knows that you got the expansions and flags itself. The CD-Keys are for if you buy the expansions via some other means (in a store, etc), you then use the key to tell the client that you bought the expansion and should be flagged for it.

If you bought them in a store (DR you can't) then on your disks there will be a code. I do not think you need it anymore, but it will be on your first install disk on the white paper cover.
