is DDO Solo friendly?

I enjoyed Neverwinter Nights and all the expansions, that is the only D&D experience I have had is with NWN.

I love mmorpg's and am considering trying out DDO.

So, is the game solo friendly?  Or is it more made for grouping only?  Wow is solo friendly, as is AO IMO with the instance quests you can do.

I like to be able to log in and do something without LFG or having to group to accomplish something.

Your comments are appreciated, as I am determining my purchase decision based on the responses to my question of 'solo-ability' of DDO.

Solo in DDO is very hard and un-rewarding.

A C.R. 3 (think level 3) ogre can kill most non-melee level 3 characters faster than you can say OMFG-I-hate-forced-grouping-this-game-SUXXOR.

NWN was an exceptional DnD game in that it had a party size of 2 (for SP).... DDO on the other hand does not play well with a party size smaller than 2.

If you are looking for solo-ability, DDO is not your game...  Nuff said.

Thirded.  You can solo some quests, but they're few and far between; too far to merit spending the ca$h.

Thank you much for all the responses.

I will take your advice and look elsewhere for solo'able mmorpg games.
