I am in a bit of a jam at the moment because i am undecided in which class i should choose to be a fighter Dwarf or Human? hmmmmmm... Could you please give your opinion for me and say why thanks.
Actually dwarfs are better in terms of starting attributes. Humans are better because they can detect stealth and warriors are already a rogue killing machine and then the added detecting stealth just ends any doubt right there.
Rogue stealths while trying to flee then you detect stealth and charge em = dead rogue. So I would say go human.
I haven't played WoW in a long time but I was a 60 human warrior and I ate rogues for breakfast. I talk mostly about rogues because you hear everyone complain about em and rogues are the highest in population so by being able to obliterate them means being pretty damn Uber.
Of course by being a dwarf you can negate any poison the rogue puts on you and its most likely that slowing poison they use a lot and then they will either run or stealth away. So say you negate it and they run, well you can charge them. If they are smart though they will slow you down or stun or whatever because they know you will get out of it soon and then they will stealth away. So basically they lost you IF they were smart.
I think a human who got slowing poison can still charge though and so will be able to stun and finish them off.
Again I haven't played for a LONG time so some of this stuff might have been altered by patches.
EDIT: My memory is kind of fuzzy about all my battles as a warrior. I would still go human even though warriors have hamstring and so dwarves could effectively use it and so not need detect stealth because hamstring keeps a rogue out of stealth while slowing them. Despite having hamstring I still used detect stealth tons of times because there were times when they avoided my hamstring or I just got stunlocked while hamstring vanished from them...or whatever.
I do know that there are other classes in WoW to fight against but then it really doesn't matter what race you use, as far as I know.

It makes about as much difference as whether you tie your left or right shoe first. One peice of gear / tallent point will have a bigger effect, so chose the one you think of the coolest name for.
Last night I started a gnome mage to play with some mates who've just bought the game. Was it for tiny bit of extra mana, or the escape artist? (both reasonable abilities), nope every races abilities are pretty much on par, I just loved the name Shortfuse

The race doesn't always go to the swiftest, nor the battle to the strongest, but that's the way to bet.

First, this belongs in the WoW forum.
Second, it doesn't matter what race you are unless you're a priest.
