looking for new game

hello all you guys/girls,
i am looking for a new MMO to play, have been playing sum beta's lately like RF Online and Auto Assault. but i am now looking for a new one, it has to have a great community, not like in R.O.S.E. where nobody talks. the Beta of RF Online was awesome, cause it has a great community, there are allways people talking in there. any1 know one? i prefer that its free, but if its really good i am able to pay.

i have tryed alot of mmorpg's , and i would 100% say that Ryzom have the best community. i was really supirsed about Ryzom's community. 90% of all ppl are really kind, might be dou to most ppl in the game is 20+ years old (no offense).
if u would give it a try, then get to www.ryzom.com and grab the 7 days free trail. and dont be scared when u are all alone on some iland, just wait to u get to the mainland

ok, i tried Ryzom, but after 10-15 minutes it keeps disconnecting me :S, i searched their whole forums for answers, tried everything but nothing helps
Asheron's Call seems to be P2P, and because your saying in every topic that asheron's call is a good game... i dont beleive it is.

Easily one of the best mmos of all time and the most content filled and fun-filled games available.
Don't let the dated grahics fool you. This game is a seven year old game now. And there is a reason it is still running today. Also the older graphics means that if you are running an older computer, you'll still play the game without any problems and you won't have to spend $3,000 on the latest technology to play it.
The only game that comes even close to the quality of Asherons Call in the past 7 years is Dark Age of Camelot in my opinion, and trust me... I have now tested and played over 30 mmorpgs.
Put my checkmark next to the Asheron's Call suggestion.

Yes, I also would have to strongly agree with this one, Asherons Call is the best mmo ever made. anyone who has ever played AC (especially the pvp Darktide) knows this first hand.
Other games have better graphics. Other games have bigger worlds, or more races. No mmo even comes close to the oozing quality, content rich, and blazing FUN that Asherons Call contains. All current mmo game devs need to take a good look at this game before they release prettier, shinier, much less fun games.
Having been on the search for a new game for five years now, I have come to the startling conclusion that the game most like the one you loved is probably the one you have left.
For me, that's Everquest. Don't much like what Sony has done to the game, but Everquest today is going to be closer than any new game to what Everquest was five years ago. Believe me, a person can wait years for the right game to come along and it may never be up to expectations.
A good community can be defined differently.
I would say that AC has one of the BEST communities of any mmo.
By that, I mean that the people you will meet in the game are super friendly, talkative and just a lot more fun people to play with then say the kind of people you might meet in a game like Lineage 2 or WoW.
Now don't get me wrong. Lineage 2 and WoW both have a thousand times the number of people playing. The populations in Asherons Call are sadly suffering. But the people you will meet will have a much higher quality of playman-ship that those in more popular mmos.
Quality of Quanity I always say.
The populations in Asherons Call today are very low. But if you play the game for a while.. trust me you will come across and meet many very cool players. Just give it time.
But if the biggest population of players is all you desire, then by all means, go play WoW or Lineage 2 or Ragnorak Online.
Britney Spears might sell more tickets then a singer with 10 times the talent that plays on the same night in any given town. Does this mean that Britney is the best musician in that town on that particular night?

ok, so i gues that it will be Asheron's Call for me then
and i prefer quality over quantity...
example: i played RF Online beta, there were allways like 20 people talking.. allways the same people, but that makes a game much more fun, if u have people to talk with. If in AC, there are 30-40 people very talkative, then thats enough for me.
there is one more question i have about AC:
Free or P2P?

Have you tried asking on the technical forums about the problem or downloading the klients support tool? The CSR support in Ryzom is one of the strongest in any game I have found
