chat help!

I got this weird bug a few months ago..and my chat wasnt working...being the noob i was back then i didnt realize that all my chat channels had been blocked..but now im fine..but that message system that tells you say.."duel starting in...." or "invite sent" or shows your play time isnt working...i can send invites and join groups and all i just cant see if it went through before they join up with me..its been like this for a while and i REALLY wanna see my play time
